My Group Lessons are very small with a maximum of 4 children with CPR certified instructors & only one class in the pool at a time. This minimizes distractions & maximizes individual attention.
*Mini sessions are for children who may only need 3 days vs 5 days. This makes sense for an older child, who just needs a refresher course, or maybe for an additional class later in the season.
* Lessons are every day for a week (Mon-Fri) with sessions lasting 30 minutes each day. Parents drop off and pick up but do not stay for the 30 min lesson. Saturdays are used as a makeup day in case of rain.
* Group Classes for ages 3 & up* Classes are limited to 4 children in each class (I do my very best to place children at the same age & level in classes together).
* There will be 2 instructors in the pool at all times (myself & another water safety instructor)* Lessons are $250 per child, per week. Mini sessions are $150 for 3 days.
* Lessons are given at my home in Frisco, TX at 4 Lawton Ct. (near Main and Teel)
Young beginners - tend to be 3-5 year olds who may have had 1 year of lessons or no lessons yet. They are not swimming independently on this level. We will work on blowing bubbles in the water to help them learn how to breath while swimming & not drink/choke on the water, fundamentals of a front crawl (free style), jumping into the water from the side of the pool, floating & water/pool safety.
Level 1, Second Year (or second week in the same summer)
This is an in-between class for children who have had at least one week of swimming lessons, are no longer scared of the water. This student is typically 4-5 years old or 3 years old with a second week of lessons within the same summer.
Tend to be 5-8 years old, who have had at least 1 year of lessons, but not mastered the deep end and still working on beginning of stroke work. We will work on front crawl with beginning side breathing, back stroke, a frog kick to begin a breast stroke, beginning diving and water safety.
Tend to be Ages 5 and up who have mastered the basic front and back stroke; this group works on swimming longer distances, diving, water safety, treading water and more extensive stroke work including free style with side breathing (front crawl), breast stroke, back stroke, elementary back and possibly butterfly.
